The quick answer
Slotify currently lists virtual receptionist plans at $299, $599 and $999 per month, per location, with support on four, five and seven days per week respectively. Compare the coverage your salon needs and the agreed service scope before choosing a plan.
Current Slotify pricing
| Plan | Monthly price | Listed coverage |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | $299 USD per location | 4 days per week |
| Premium | $599 USD per location | 5 days per week |
| VIP | $999 USD per location | 7 days per week |

Compare the job being done, not just the monthly fee
A salon that needs routine calls covered on its busiest days has a different requirement from one that needs a consistent handoff every day. Make a list of the requests you expect a receptionist to handle: new appointments, rescheduling, service questions, group inquiries and messages for the owner.
Ask the provider to explain which tasks are included, which require salon approval and which are outside the scope. Reminders and follow-up are only useful when the responsible person, timing and communication channel are clear.
Questions to include in your quote request
- Which days, daily hours and time zone will the plan cover?
- How are holiday closures and changes to the schedule handled?
- Are there call, minute or message limits and overage charges?
- Can the receptionist confirm bookings or only collect requests?
- Which languages and booking tools are supported?
- What setup, contract, cancellation and extra-location terms apply?
- Who handles complaints or a request that needs an immediate answer?
Save the answers with the proposal so that you are comparing written scope rather than assumptions.
Use your own numbers for a useful cost check
A practical planning formula is: monthly service fee + agreed extras + any separate tools needed for the workflow. Do not count an existing booking subscription as a new cost unless the arrangement changes it.
For an illustrative calculation, suppose the selected fee is $299 and the owner measures eight hours of their own call-handling time freed up in a month. The fee divided by those measured hours is about $37.38 per hour. This is a budgeting example, not a claim about time saved, wages or profit. Replace both numbers with your actual results.
Also compare handoff accuracy and unresolved requests. A cheaper plan that leaves your busiest hours uncovered may not meet the problem you are trying to solve.
Choose coverage around the salon week
Review your busiest call periods and select the smallest scope that reliably covers the need. After launch, use a short review period to check missed requests, correct bookings and customer feedback. Expand coverage when your own records justify it.
